I’m thrilled to recount my recent visit to Lush Malaysia Corporate Office – an unforgettable experience that has left a lasting imprint. The journey introduced me to the enchanting realm of Lush products, revealing a world of wonder.
Yet, the pinnacle of this visit was undoubtedly the meeting with the Managing Director, Harvinder Harchand. Conversing with her was an absolute delight, and she exudes the very essence of the Lush brand – friendly, humorous, and experiential.

From June 21 to June 23, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia hosted the captivating PATA Destination Experience Forum and Mart 2023. Organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the event was a dynamic platform spotlighting Ecotourism, Gastronomy Tourism, Adventure Travel, Destination Management, and Digital Marketing.
Comprising four key components, the event started with immersive “Destination Experiences,” showcasing Kuching and Sarawak’s cultural and natural wonders. Attendees engaged in biodiversity, culinary delights, and adventurous pursuits.
The “Conference” gathered industry luminaries, fostering discourse on sustainable tourism, ecotourism initiatives, digital marketing’s role, and destination management strategies.
The “B2B Adventure Travel Trade Show” connected stakeholders in adventure travel, facilitating product showcases and networking.
Lastly, networking sessions encouraged collaboration and innovative solutions among participants.

Meeting Tuan Awang Supian Haji Awang Daud from the Sarawak Department of Premier Relations at the Sarawak State Liaison Office in Kuala Lumpur was a rewarding experience. Our professional alliance proved particularly crucial during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tasked with overseeing mandatory quarantine procedures for travelers from Sarawak, our collaboration proved indispensable. Additionally, I facilitated an introduction between Norman Chen, Mr. John Kim, and Tuan Awang Supian, aligning with our organization’s values of promoting eco-tourism, environmental preservation, and sustainability.
Conversations with Tuan Awang Supian brought forth invaluable insights into potential investment prospects in Sarawak, notably in Kuching and Miri. The LOA was signed by Norman Chen, the visionary founder and CEO of Elysium Resort, and Eric Tham Kong Meng, the esteemed Principal of Veritas Architects Sdn Bhd Penang.
